I'm excited for it, I think it will bring out excitement in the younger players. It's going to have chrome which is going to be interesting. (Per Warren Sapp's hint)

Well, your "gut" is wrong since these uniform and helmet changes have to be approved 18 months in advance. Obviously, he had nothing to do with it at all. I like it the way it is and see the change as totally unnecessary.While it is true we have no idea what it will look like, it's also true it will not be the same. Some of us don't like that. All there is to it, not that it matters. Not like I'm going to avoid going to the games or following the team over it.

Unlikely. Uniform redesigns usually have to go through a longer bureaucratic process and the design was probably decided quite a while before Lovie was hired.

I stand corrected. At any rate, it has been a great brand for almost 2 decades, so I just don't get the sense the Glazers are about to throw that baby out with the bathwater, although them being reactionary wouldn't exactly be front page news. Admittedly these are just feelings, but I just think that the people that are worked up for a drastic overhaul of the helmet and logo (the team has not said the unis are changing to my knowledge, so idk where people are getting this idea) are going to be disappointed (or not).
With such wonderful ability to take a topic and deliver a story let's hope he keeps his job in radio....

New helmet is unbelievable!!!!! I knew they weren't going to ditch the logo, as it was clearly announced as a "enhanced logo". The chrome grill left me astonished. It's a shame that we are still 6 months from seeing these helmets in game time action. Great job Bucs!!!!!

Like the chrome and the darker pewter, don't care for the new oversized logo.Doesn't really affect my interest in the team either way though.
