Great chat today! Good questions, for the most part, and answers. Here's a quote from Mark I particularly enjoyed hearing:"I think Joe Cullen will do wonders on the defensive line. Everyone we spoke to in Mobile this week raved about Cullen. He is a Marinelli clone. If Bowers can't get more than one sack with Cullen coaching then he won't ever do it. He will push these guys harder than they have even been pushed. I think Cleveland had like 43 sacks last year and I can't name more than one of their defensive linemen."This staff is such an upgrade IMO. Down the line. Worth some wins? I think so. I think we'll get some answers as to the roster as soon as FA starts. I agree Garv, I really like the staff. And they have been super friendly with us, a couple were shocked to see us at the hotel at 11:30 one night in Mobile looking for coaches and scouts to talk to. They said to SR and I, Wow you guys are serious about your jobs and a different type of reporters. Hopefully they will helped us gain some respect from them and will help us down the road. From Byrd to Hardy to Tedford and so on, this seems like an impressive group. And every single one of them have went on and on about how excited they are and can't wait to get started asap. I think, like with PJ Fleck two years ago, their excitement will be fun for the fans and the players to watch.
You must be a patient man MC... I would've snapped with all the Schiano questions and comments. There have to be 3,000 things we can talk about that are relevant and current.
