@alexmarvez: Bill Polian says @TBBuccaneers will be 2014 version of 2013 @KCChiefs as far as rebounding from losing record to success @SiriusXMNFL
Let's not get ourselves too worked up here. I'm optimistic, but there are still some glaring holes on the roster, and the OL needs rebuilding.
Yeah, I agree. I actually thought it was interesting more for the national exposure we are getting with Lovie

I think it's a reasonable comparison. The Buccaneers DO have a lot of talent, particularly on defense. I think it's quite possible this team can turn it around in one year. I do agree the OL needs work, another TE is in order and the QB position........well, more will be revealed.
I see no reason to not have a winning season with this roster. Especially with Lovie. It's not the scariest on O, but the pieces are there on D, we may even be able to get the pass rush on the outside from Gholston and AC without having to open the wallet for a high price FA DE. On o we are one speed guy and an OL rebuild away if Glennon progresses. Doesn't even need to be great, but if he's steady we should be winning more than losing.
Ithink we are very comparable to KC heading into the offseason. Except id argue our skill positions are deeper (they had Bowe outside and that's it). Imo we aren't far at all from having a strong line. One guard to replace nicks and a poss replacement for Dotson when he moves left, and we are in the money again.Defensively I think we have more players than kc did... especially once we get an edge guy... lovie is going to make due with our secondary with minimal upgrade
Disagree strongly dmajik about the defensive side - I think KC has a lot more pieces than us. They have Poe, Houston, and Tambali all playing at a very high level on their line - we have McCoy. They also have Derrick Johnson, who isn't as good as David but is still a very good player. In their secondary they have Sean Smith, Brandon Flowers, and Eric Berry - contrasted with Revis, Goldson, and Barron. I think KC's front 7 blows ours out of the water (seeing as we don't have an edge rusher).

One can only hope.
