Now, I don't know, did the article say he did not do well in the Cowboys game because he was hung-over or partied too hard?  I don't recall seeing that? The article does not say the Bucs lost to Dallas because of Williams, it suggested that he underperformed . . . how is that even controversial?

Yes, that is exactly the article suggested and posters like yourself ate hook, line, and sinker.  That is why you're in full spin mode after being suckered.  Unfortunately those same people didn't really bother to look up that Williams was the leading receiver during that crappy offensive performance by the entire team, when they implied the Friday night party somehow played a role in the entire team's crappy performance. But simpletons will be simpletons.

oh, so like I said . .  its about me ("you're in full spin mode after being suckered" . . . shocker . . . . get that big chip off your shoulder little man . . . .  ??? . . . . suckered? Huh? I read the article in a different way than you and somehow I am "suckered" and now working as an agent of the Times?  Buggsy -- in case you have not figured this out, I don't care  what you think about my opinions . . . nor do I carefully consider things I posts so that poor Buggsy doesn't come get me.  Get a grip  . . .lolI will look back, but I don't think the article suggested that at all (i.e., that he was "hung-over"),  maybe you didn't read it correctly?  Btw,  who "implied" THIS:  "when they implied the Friday night party somehow played a role in the entire team's crappy performance"?  Who is the  "they"  you are referencing? The Times and PR? Posters on these boards?  Some group of people "implied" that Williams' party "somehow played a role in the entire team's crappy performance"?  Really? Link? This is what the article says, just in case the Times is the "they":"Its going down again," he wrote on his Facebook page the weekend he moved in shortly before the 2012 Bucs season. "The biggest house party of the year September 21 … most flights and hotels is paid by me alot of special guests will be there … everything free no catch."There was a catch, however. That Sept. 21 was the Friday night before a Bucs road game at Dallas, in Greg Schiano's first season as head coach.Williams would match a season low with two catches in that game, and the Bucs would muster just 166 yards of offense in a 16-10 loss, their lowest total in Schiano's two seasons. It is unclear whether any of Williams' teammates attended the party.goodness Buggsy . . .  take a deep breath  :-[

What kills me is how is play was affected on the field by his life style off, that's when I have issues!! 2 catches in Dallas he cost his team

+1

Have to love a player throwing a massive house party on a Friday and then totally crapping the bed on a Sunday . . .  nothing says "professional" quite like that.

Carry on with your spin, Counselor.

lol, how does that match up with your crazy rant?  Like I said, I think you're trying so hard to hit me with your club, you've knocked yourself on the head.  It's like you're looking for things to fight about Buggsy . . .  you might think about whether you spend too much of your life focused on me ... lol . . . maybe you think he was such a "professional" that he was watching film at his house party?  lol  Maybe that is why he once very active Twitter account has been silent since mid-January: https://twitter.com/Mikebuc19 By the way. this was Jan 14:Retweeted by mike williams sr Xstrology™ ?@XSTROLOGY  · Jan 14  #Taurus : sex, drugs, and foodI looked for football . . didn't see it . .

Nobody is making excuses for Williams' idiotic behavior.  What's being laughed at is the notion that a Friday party was the reason for Williams' catching only two balls in Dallas.  Never mind that the entire offense sucked so bad that Williams, and his two catches, was the team's leading receiver that day.  It was Williams Friday night party that caused him to have only two catches. But continue on with the spin, Counselor.
