If my memory serves me correctly, you all reported in the fall that some Buc players went to Schiano and asked for Glennon to be made the starter. To me, that took courage and leadership. Do you all know which Buc players did that? Furthermore, from a teammate perspective, do you all sense the team wants Glennon to remain the starter? Thanks
good questions
Talking to someone this week, they seemed to believe Glennon really earned the respect of his teammates. And if we could report the players who went to management we would have named them then. Sorry but they are still on the team and we can't reveal that.
If memory serves me correctly even though Schiano had an open door policy - the Captains are the players he spoke with regularly - so just guessing here - but I would lean towards the Captains after a team meeting was held took the news to Schiano - standing behind the decision that was made by the majority of the team - the lone exception possibly would be Penn as he was very verbal in his sticking up for Freeman.
Reporting a story using unnamed sources?Tsk tsk tsk :P
Here is a clue. Yucc is on to something.
Good stuff. Thanks guys
I seem to remember VJax being pretty heated during the Patriots game. Also left the game with what many called a "questionable rib injury". The next game Glennon was starting.
The funny thing being that VJax was the all about 5 player on offense -- the center piece of the he's not accurate so we need the biggest guy we can find strategy of offense.
