It is time to BLOW this thing up. They can't hit. Even with pitching they stink. I'm afraid losing Gerry Hunsicker was more than devastating to this franchise. There's little help in our farm system either.
Other than Loney, it seems every other player in the lineup is inconsistent, even Longoria. Personally I feel he is overrated, he's more Robin than Batman, this team needs a consistent offensive threat and that's exactly what they need to trade Price for. No more prospects, it's time to land a proven offensive player. I don't follow the league enough to know who's available, but I'm sure it can be done.
Trade for Puig. The Dodgers love pitching, send them a couple starters. Puig is a bit of a wild man, but man oh man, that dude can rake.
How can we have a bad record yet our AAA farm team the Durham Bulls are leading their division and have one of the best records in the IL. It must be stage fright once guys get called up.
