I would be stunned if the rays trade Price.
Because they're still "in it?" The math doesn't look good. 4th place and 8 games back of Baltimore. To win 90 games the Rays would have to go 37-17, or .685 while Baltimore only has to go 30-26. And there's the little problem of leapfrogging the Jays and the Yanks. Go for the 2nd wild card? 5.5 games back and 6th place. I'm not sure 90 game would do it, but even so, pass up on a move for the future on hopes of a 2nd wild card? I wouldn't.Stunned because they're not getting fair offers now and feel like they'll get as much after the season? Possible. Just hard to believe there's not somebody willing to give up a couple of top notch prospects for a chance to land David Price for 1 year and 2 months with the opportunity for longer.Stunned because the locker room would revolt?
