Let me make clear that this disease (this is what I call it) exists in both parties.

Just watched the first few minutes of the State of the Union Address.

Trump said the unemployment rate among Blacks was the lowest in History.

There were a number of Black Representatives on the Democratic side of the Isle who stood and cheered.
As well they should. It has been difficult economically for many blacks, just because they are black.
I imagined everyone who truly has America's best interest at heart wants a better, fairer way of life for Blacks.

But the camera (PBS) zoomed in on 4 representatives on the Democratic side of the room (2 Black Women and 2 Black
men) all members of Congress, and they sat in their places with a disagreeable look on their faces.

I presume these four were elected from predominately Black Districts and I would hope that they truly had Black interests at heart.

But their political loyalty, was stronger than the improved economic conditions of the people they were elected to Represent, and so they sat in their place without any positive emotion.

Others may spin this as suits them.

I see this blinding, overwhelming, loyalty to a political party as a disease.
