Pence and Trump have refused to wear masks when "on stage," as Trump recently referred to it (paraphrasing), the import clearly being that Trump and his minions didnt wnat the POLITICAL FALLOUT that would come from wearing masks while telling the country to re-open, for almost purely political reasons.
