I certainly don't want to start a class war.
But the projections for this year tax payments, 2018, are:
The top 1% are to pay 43% of all taxes;
The top 20% to pay 87% of all taxes;
The bottom 60% to pay 4% of all taxes.
These estimates do not seem to indicate that the wealthy do not pay their fair share.
If the top 20% pay 87%, then the bottom 80% pay only 13%.
