Disturbing story. Disabled or not, disrespecting military veterans makes my blood boil. Thankfully, it looks like police responded to that incident in a timely fashion before that gang did serious damage (and/or the vet was able to protect himself somewhat against his attackers). Watching the video attached, really have to feel for the young black kid who looked like he took a hell of a beating in a different incident in the same area.
I can't imagine a better scenario for using a gun in self defense. It would have stopped the attackers in their tracks and struck the fear of God into someone else doing the same thing.
