Demands:
1)Defund the police!!! This could be considered anarchist but it's just the start.
2) Demilitarize communities. Hey I even like this one.
3) Remove cops from schools! Begining to lose me... why exactly? Because we don't care about protecting kids or we don't need it or because police are bad? Not signing off on the last one now way no how.
4) Free people from prison and Jails! Ok, I can go with this if you're talking about non violent drug related offenses. Not for molitov cocktail bombing police cars or burning buildings or any other form of violence. Somehow I'm thinking these people are not just talking about non violent criminals.
5) Repeal laws criminalizing survival! Full on batshit crazy. WTF are they even talking about? I'm poor and I need stuff so I'm surviving by looting? By stealing shit? by ripping other people off? Hey don't worry they probably have insurance.
6) Invest in community self governance! Ahh here comes the socialism.... not anarchy but socialism. Government sanctioned and funded mob control of neighborhoods. Community policing is one thing but neighborhood self governance sounds fishy. Somehow I don't think they're talking about local control. They're talking about chop style, community election of a skull smashing, form a proper bread line, "safety" team. I want local control of my local police force but I want the adults in charge. I have no faith that that's what a radical socialist wants.
7) Provide safe accessible and affordable housing. More socialism. How can you "provide" that outside of a housing project without confiscation of property or massive AOC style regulations? If you own property you can only rent it for pre approved govenrment rates and if it's too hot or too cold or someone in the family got sick or lost their job then you can't collect rent. Don't bother trying to evict anyone.... heck lets just confiscate all the property because it will be way easier.
8) Fully invest in Care! Not Cops! Socailism... we want our own police that won't be police but we demand that you provide a lot more care too. So get out but give us more free shit. How can this be accopmplished without force? The brown shirts are coming there is no question in the world. There is no way to get all the socialism without taking all the money from anyone who has it and you can't get it without force.... Oh you'll just make a law that says they have to give you everything... what do you do when they try to leave?
Either way it won't work. It ends in an America devoid of all wealth where everyone is equally poor or a country where fascist brown shirts carrying bats roam the streets looking for fascists to attack for thought crimes, having too nice of a backpack or being too pretty and everyone is still equally poor.
I forgot one thing. There will be some who have stuff.... the people in charge of the brown shirts or the doling out of the stolen property will be living pretty well as always. At least in capitalism the people getting rich actually have to work hard. In chop world it will just be a Soviet style, whoever is in the government... and all your relatives and friends are rich type of deal. The good news is that it's likely to be a lot of good comrades who are out there tearing down the oppressive statues of all the Presidents who will be living the good life.... you know, the good guys.
