Should the Democratic party be removed from Congress?

After all they are the reason for those Confederate statues being here.

The Democratic party were the Slavery and KKK party and responsible for those groups in America.

Perhaps replace them with a Libertarian party which I believe is the belief of a majority of Americans in some form.
