The window of opportunity is now for Licht to really turn this around.
I am fairly sure Otton is gone. Dean is gone. LVD probably retires.
Do you think Evans leaves?
Houston could have been a land spot for Evans but Houston has invested in the WR room because Tank Dell has issues staying healthy.
If Evans wants to go to the Chiefs then yes he is gone because it is not about money then again the Broncos and Chargers are going to give the Chiefs fits. But if Evans like the Tampa Bay are then he stays. I think Evans wants to see how the Bucs improve the defense in free agency because if it is more of the same then he leaves.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Sunday that Evans plans on limiting his suitors "to a handful of teams" because he is looking for "a quarterback he believes in, a chance at a Super Bowl, a top-shelf offensive coordinator and the promise of high-volume touches."
If this is accurate, then Evans is already gone. TB meets none of the criteria mentioned.
Robinson is going to run a ground game and that is why Evans knows that he may not want to be part of that type of offensive strategy for his twilight of his career.

This.

Based on SR's reporting that he's trying to build up two personal stats, the best thing for him may be a bad defense. Lots of throwing the ball to catch up
NBC - "Speaking of Mike Evans, I truly believe he’ll be in a new uniform next year. The Buccaneers love him, but given the commitment they made to Chris Godwin last year and a deep young WR room, Tampa Bay is okay letting him go elsewhere. I heard Buffalo as a potential landing spot for Evans and possibly Philly if the Eagles decide to move A.J. Brown."

yeah if its about stats, you would have to think Tampa is a good choice
Eagles - Hurts cant event get AJ brown the ball, no
Texans - yikes
Buffalo/Chiefs/Ravens - better QBs but with being in the lead most of the time, likely not getting as many targets

Yes exactly why I said the story is a bit of a mismatch with the circumstances.
another "Evans stays"
"Despite flirting with other suitors dangling promises of going to the big dance, wide receiver Mike Evans will stay in Tampa Bay. He has already won a Super Bowl in this town and were it not for the Buccaneers’ injuries last season, the team might have dominated the division. Before anyone writes him off due to his age (32), it’s worth noting Evans’ nine missed games due to a collarbone injury in 2025 were an outlier, and in the eight games he did play, he was targeted on one-third of his red zone routes (fourth best among WRs with 50-plus targets)."
JBF take
if Evans believes the Bucs won eight games last season with a sad defense, a slew of injuries to key players and an incompetent offensive coordinator, then he surely believes the Bucs can accomplish great things in 2026."
evans will be a bill shortly
Mike Evans hates wings. He’s not going to Buffalo…
There are multiple contenders they are likely evaluating. Bills? Patriots? Broncos? Jaguars? 49ers?
I personally believe he will leave, and for one of these five four teams.
