About 8 days ago, America had a total of 60 cases and Germany had a total of 52 cases.

Now, 12:25 AM 3-8-20, America has 444 cases and Germany has 800 cases.

America Leads The World of larger countries with 1.3 cases per million population.(the lowest)

Out of the next 19 countries, Japan is the closest with 3.6 cases per million population.

The highest is South Korea with 139.1 cases per million population followed by Italy with 97.3
cases per million population.

No question the virus is concerning because we can't be sure if and when it will end. And so it gets a tremendous amount of media attention.

To give the numbers some perspective, in America there are about 32,000 traffic fatalities a year.

So in the week where America total COVID-19 cases went from 60 to 444 cases,

there were about 600 traffic deaths.
