Roseanne debut did much better than expected. I remember shows like married with children and they were bad, but funny. I like south park, but no one is going to confuse that with quality television.
Then there are movies. I cannot count the times I watched a horrible movie on tv and didn't change channel. Hercules goes to NY is an example. I remember cult films like Idiocracy and office space. Quotes from Airplane are said all the time.
Why do we love bad TV?
