FOR HIS OWN POLITICAL BENEFIT, Governor Greg Abbott (just like DeSantis in FL) has appealed to MAGA with a campaign of resistance to mask mandates (that wouldn't likely be necessary without the first political bs he pushed). The Delta variant soars BECAUSE of early, politically-driven resistance to a variety of mitigations, that misplaced resistance being pushed by Abbott and DeSantis and others in the Trump GOP
