I posted earlier that a bunch of venues in the agricultural area of the UK have canceled events schedule by Franklin Graham because his WORDS were inconsistent with their values.
Graham responds:
“ “This attack on me is an attack on religious freedom and freedom of speech,” Graham said in an interview with Religion News Service. “For any Christian group that wants to rent a venue that believes the Bible is the word of God, they’re in danger of being canceled.”
Consider the lunacy of that statement.
Franklins views are protected, but the hosts’ views are not.
Why are they different?
This is where the lunacy comes in
According to Franklin, because God agrees with him.
So, any person can just say their faith that a) there is a God and b) that that god agrees with him/her protects the speech?
“All Christians must die” - my god agrees so that’s not hate speech.
Good grief.
