There's no way the White House lawyers are this Keystone Cops, so this has to be Trump overruling and it coming back, potentially, to bite him.

There was supposedly a long debate about releasing the first transcript. I would imagine the one argument was "whats the point?" In fact, it only shows that meeting was offered

and then, predictably, you get this:

Trump never mentions corruption, despite an official White House readout distributed at the time saying Trump expressed a commitment to working together to "root out corruption."

And the classification markings reflect a difference in how the April and July calls were handled. The first call was marked "Unclassified" and "for official use only." The second call was classified as "Secret."

No way competent lawyers miss these things, so it can only be that they lost out to their client

stuff like them two items above only add fodder to the Dems' claims
