As I have posted repeatedly, if you support Trump you are supporting the destruction of the republic created by the Constitution.

Here's a great example. Keep in mind that the Constitution was written by people escaping a KING so Congress is given the most power in the structure and wording of the Constitution. This is/was PRECISELY because change by hundreds is much less likely than change by ONE. War is much less likely if hundreds decided than ONE. Politician use of power is much less likely if left to hundreds than one.

Trump Republicans don't care though because they are fighting for survival and part of that fight has been to stack the Courts, so they view this as their chaCE, EVEN IF IT WOULD FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE THE UNITED STATES FOREVER (Remember this next time a liberal is elected President)

ALSO, KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS ISSUE IS A POLITICAL CHOICE BY TRUMP . . A CHOICE . . . THE US GOVERNMENT HAS SURVIVED FOR YEARS BECAUSE MOST EXECUTIVES HAVE ELEVATED THE COUNTRY OVER THEIR OWN POLITICAL FORTUNES

From the article:

"Typically when there is a dispute between the legislative branch and the executive branch over congressionally issued subpoenas, both sides negotiate and each party gives a little. But in this case, Trump has intervened not to fight the scope of the subpoenas, but to wholesale reject them."

The SCOTUS may find a way out, but right now they are on a track to Dred Scott type infamy.
