If this is accurate, this is the union doing exactly that while an investigation is ongoing. Trying to get out ahead of the story by smearing the victim
This is precisely the reason that the federal department of justice would typically investigate, but I don’t think that is happening here. In fact, the president has never mentioned the victims name
