He blocked unanimous consent to pas the federal anti-lynching bill because he wanted to “strengthen” it
Tell us if that claim holds water. Here’s the actual very brief bill:

If you’re too lazy to read it, it basically says that Unsuccessfully CONSPIRING to lynch someone (eg the victim escapes) still gets you the completed act punishment.
