Based on how he's played this year, how Clowney doesn't make this list is puzzling.

Nothing to do with stats. Watched him spend more time loafing than he spent hustling and making plays. He has all the talent you look for, but whether he has the motivation or not is the question I have....again, based on watching his play.

DJ,I live near Columbia and have watched him since he arrived. He has been a "one great play" ....."multiple plays off" player. My neighbor is an alum and he goes to all the games and he is always talking about it. Again, not saying he doesn't have loads of talent and can be dominating....I just don't trust his committment.
Shouldn't this list be all the kids in the draft pool. Recall that linebacker from Wake Forest a few years back who was the "safe pick" and "sure thing"....how is that working out?

Also, Blake Bortle is a one year wonder? Really? Cause in 2012 he had a better year statistically than 2013, went to a Bowl game and was MVP of that Bowl game.

Watch the UNC game from this year. No it is not just the "its Jadaveon Clowney" effect. He is loafing..the motor doesn't run all the time like you would think it would.....IMO

Exactly. The true fantasy is that there are "safe" players. No such thing. Every player has the potential to be a bust no matter what.

You know this excuse is stupid. Every draftable senior and junior should be dogging it then. People started this silly talk like he is the first guy who went back, willingly or not, and was playing under the shadow of a high draft grade. If he is willing to dog it so he can get paid, what motivation does he have once he gets paid?

DJ, I know you live to annoy certain posters, but I wouldn't call the inclusion of a player in a list where a guy calls someone a "won-year" wonder and says that teams won't fall head-over-heels for Watkins and then says he could go 2 as some sort of valuable piece of evidence.
