Give me either Barr or Mack and i'll be ecstatic.
BTW, using the Kirwin Explosion Index where the sum of Bench+Vertical+Broad is the measure and 70 is the magic elite number you haveMack 73.8Clowney 68.9
Barr was about the speed that I thought he was, contrary to those crazy claims of him being a 4.5 or even sub 4.5 guy
Yea, but Barr having the lowest number of reps on the bench (among LBs) isn't very reassuring...esp bc most of these guys have been busting their butts in the gym to get ready for this.
What did Barr run?
I like Barr less than someone like Mack, but he's got a lot going for him. Most of the things I don't like about him seem very fixable with good coaching. And the way he leans around the edge reminds me of Robert Quinn, and is pretty much un-coachable.

Im not sold on him as a top 10 pick but if we drafted him I'd just be hoping he is as good as what some people seem to think. I do like the idea of Barr on the Dline vs certain teams like Carolina. He'd probably do a way better job at containing Cam Newton than anyone on our team. I wonder how much of that will be on the GM and Lovies mind.
What did Barr run?
4.62 unofficial which seemed faster than what it looked like. Im guessing 4.65-4.69 for his official
4.66 official.
That's not bad
Physically - he compares to Clowney... 'sayin.
That's not bad
But not great either...Barr's quickness/speed was supposed to be one of his strongest attributes .
Ive been timing some of these 40's myself and multiple times per person. Most of the time its on par with the official times but some interesting ones (and maybe someone else can try to) is I have Clowney at sub 4.5 every single time I do it even though his official time is 4.53. I also have Watkins at sub 4.4 every time.
NFL Fun Facts: Linebacker Khalil Mack opted to wear No. 46 as his jersey number all four seasons at Buffalo because he felt slighted by his rating on the NCAA Football video game as a freshman.Haha...I like that. A little chip on his shoulder.
Was his overall rating a 46?
