signing Vick wont set us back for years. trading up for manziel willwed likely be giving up multiple future 1sts and 2nds. we cant afford to give anything up and if anything need to move down and accumulate picksNO FUCKING WAY can we afford to do that. look what it did to Washington. no id stop being a fan because it would be completely apparent that this team is run completely ineptly with no thought process. the Glazers do a piss poor job of providing anything for the fans, they've made 2 horrible coaching hires in the last couple of years and haven't shown much of a commitment to winning. it would be the final straw for me and show me that this organization doesn't know anything about building a winning brand. look at the successful franchises in this league, San Fran, Pittsburgh, New England. they don't make desperate moves and take a measured intelligent approach to the draft. they identify talent and don't go after flashy players who dazzle with bullshitwere going to trade up for a guy with a higher than average bust chance when weve got so many other deficiencies on this roster. year that makes a whole lot of senseI can understand losing if you are at least trying hard and at least putting forth the effort. when you do dumb **CENSORED** like trading up for a guy like manziel thus sacrificing the future of the team by wasting draft picks and you hire coaches like morris and schiano I cant support you

What if it took the 7th and 38th pick? I could see that being very possible (hell, I still think there's like a modest chance he's there at 7). What if Tedford tells you he's elite raw talent and he can fix some minor issues and give you Steve Young x2? You still going to walk away mad?
I don't think Manziel is worth the 38th pick, so I wouldn't be happy with that trade, but I wouldn't walk over the Bucs making a football move I disagreed with. It's part of the charm of the Buccos. :)

its not the talentI don't trust the kid to stay out of trouble. not to mention the fact that running qbs never stay healthy. look at Vick, he always is hurt. I don't mind a qb with mobility but manziel doesn't like the pocket and likes to scramble way too much. I don't trust that his game will work. sorry but id rather go with a safer choiceif we traded up for Bortles or Bridgewater I wouldn't be happy but I wouldn't lose my mind

How would that be any different than the entire Dummynik regime ??...and besides : it wouldn't be "completely apparent" until years down the line , because none of us are foolproof in our evaluations . I don't want to trade up either , but what if Manziel turns out to be a superstar ?? Ever stop to consider that you COULD be wrong ?? You couldn't even give the move a chance ??
the RGIII debacle is still fresh in my mind. he had that amazing first season and then regressed his second year and Washington has nothing in the way of draft picks. it might turn out well but theyve really hurt themselves for the next 4-5 years because they gave up so many 1stsim not a fan of giving away future picks at allhindsight is 20/20 but its too big of a gamble. if this kid was the same kind of talent as Andrew Luck i might think differently but hes not. hes nowhere close
I'd go back to twenty with the cardinals. (Licht's former team) Get their 2nd and 3rd this year and roll with it. They are picking at #20 in each round.That would give us 20, 38, 52, 84, 100 ... etc. Five picks in the first 100 spots. As deep as this draft is we could nearly rebuild our entire offense with those 5 picks and some judicious use of free agency.Just a pipe dream...
