Both were tender with the original draft pick tender, and since they were both undrafted, it just means the their teams can match any offer. We don't have to give up any picks.

Collins starting 15 games and not allowing a sack and 1 qb hit doesn't excite you? Idk Jdouble sounds like a lot of teams would take stats like that from their LT

It might, but not for me this time. He was stuck behind 2 really good players those years. For instance, he would have unseated any of our Right Tackles any of those seasons, and would have given Penn a big run for his money at Penn's highest rate of production.
JD,Not everyone is going to want to come to Tampa and more than a few that you mentioned on your list probably don't. Also, a few probably are going to ask for more money than we are willing to spend. I've really no problem with the players that the Bucs have been linked to because they, at least IMO, appear to be better than what we currently have or fulfill needs. I'm also good with Tillman and Hester, they might be 'old' but still are productive and probably will be for a year or two. We need to be more successful franchise in order to have the better players want to come here.
I think Lovie brings some credibility and that will help bring players in. They also have a recent history of spending a lot of money on player's they bring in. I don't think it's going to be difficult to get some guys that they want to bring in. I'm pretty excited to see the changes on the roster. They really need to have a very strong offseason. This could make or break Lovies time here with what he does this offseason. High draft choices and some money to spend.

This is true. I would be willing to bet Lovie has A LOT of respect around the league and even with agents. Players/Agents know they are going to get treated right by Coach Smith.
I think Lovie definitely brings credibility and will help recruit defensive FAs.

Keep seeing that the Raiders are battling the Jets for Matt Schaub. If the Raiders land Schaub, that is huge for our chances of drafting a top QB @ 7. Also, if the Bears get Bennett they will cut Peppers....he's old but with the connection to Lovie he is a sure fire Buc.....right?
