Raiders have needs everywhere. Getting Schaub would let them work on their lines in the draft.Makes too much sense.
Keep seeing that the Raiders are battling the Jets for Matt Schaub. If the Raiders land Schaub, that is huge for our chances of drafting a top QB @ 7.
It would just be our luck that no quarterbacks will be chosen in the top 6 and with all of them available, the Bucs select Carr...JD's head would explode!!! :o 8)

I wouldn't assume that. Plenty of teams bring in a seasoned Vet to help train/tutor a rookie for the future. That would be a good description of the talent coming out this year, in need of a "red shirt year".

+1Yup.
Am I reading that right? What team has it's highest paid player around $7million?
That's why players have agents BucNY.
Yeah, it seems like he's just going to have to settle on getting paid more to be one of the highest paid players on the team.
Well that's not us then. Revis would be more than double his contract, so would McCoy. That statement still doesn't make any sense. Can someone explain it to an old fogy?
It's simple - he doesn't really understand free agency, salaries, etc. Like I said, that's what agents are for.
$7M/yr would make any player one of the teams highest paid players on any roster. There are only about 5 players on any given roster making over $5M/yr. The vast majority of players in the NFL make betweem $650k and $2.5M per year.
Well....okay.
Another way to look at it, out of roughly 1728 active players in the NFL this year, 127 are making $7M or more this year. That averages out to 4 players per team making $7M or more.

Was just weird to see it that way. When you think of highest paid players, $7million a year doesn't pop into your head.
I know. It is weird. The general perception vs. the reality of how much football players make is drastically different.
