are you kidding? you were one of Freeman's biggest fans and people tried telling why he's not a good QB and his success was a sham but you ignored it for a very long time. Now that we have rookie who actually shows real QB qualities and potential you fail to see it. I actually cant wait untill the new offense gets installed and Glennon thrives. With no QB upgrade and better coaching I think we have an outside shot at playoffs. But we definitely need a QB upgrade to be contenders.
A QB upgrade should be Glennon going in to his second year as a starter with better coaching.
Unless he's bitten by a radioactive spider in the offseason I don't see how he'll be much of an upgrade over himself

Not always, but I could see him making some improvement. I just don't think even with some improvement he has the upside to be the kind of QB that makes you a perennial contender.

I don't see it happening. He is looking for a starting gig. That would mean they have already written Glennon off. And I think Glennon gets the 2014 season to prove himself.

I love me some mike glennon but if Lovie Smith wanted anything to do with him he wouldn't have re-bench him for McCown. Let's be honest here, getting bench twice for Josh McCown says a lot about how a coach feels about you.
Benched twice and then not allowed to play once the season was lost which, if he was the future, would have happened. Heck, he had better stats and couldn't get in the field. Anyone who thinks he's not done here likely thinks our starting backfield next year will be Glennon and Rainey.

Not really bro. When I came back from my self imposed hiatus, I had over a thousand threads that had "been posted on since my last post" so I just go through them when I'm bored. Sometimes they are really funny so I share. It's not like I go searchingo for old threads. I don't think the search feature even works for threads on the old website.

Well Glennon does belong in the league , just not as a premium starter. He will be in this league over 10 years probably as one of the better back-ups . So in a way what you said isn't that bad.
