When on the field (wasn’t very often) Evans received the most targets exactly zero times
Let’s make it simple for you. We’ll start with Week One.
Who received the most targets?

if you use your own standard (tgts)then the offensive genius (Coen)the Bucs should have hired as a HC saw Godwin as the true #1 receiver for the Bucs
and Evans only got to 1000 yards because the #1 receiver (Godwin) went down.
Mike is the greatest buccaneer of all time on offense. Not debatable. His approach and presence will be missed.
People will argue you can’t have too many great players in a position room and maybe that is true. Moving on from Mike was the only sane decision to make this offseason. It’s a business, not a charity. Time to be lean and efficient on offense.

It's hilarious watching you and the rest of the Todd leghumpers continue to try and spin this.
WE didn't move on. HE did.
Now...let's get back to your claim of:

A rookie, in his first game ever as a buccaneer, Emeka Egbuka, maybe you’ve heard of him, lead the team in yards with just shy of 70. He also had 2 TDs. There’s no record of targets anywhere. It’s weird…
People will argue you can’t have too many great players in a position room and maybe that is true.
The Bucs have the receivers to make up the yards and (hopefully)TDs lost with Evans but they cannot replace his leadership.
Red zone TDs tougher
Red zone TDs tougher
This is why re-signing Otton was so odd to me. I really think we need to use a 3rd round pick for a big bodied capable TE.
Evans couldn’t stay on the field. That very thing is likely to be the case going forward.
Evans couldn’t stay on the field
Over the last 2 seasons, Godwin and McMillan missed more games than Evans.
It's weird...
Godwin and McMillan had serious contact injuries. Evans had a contact injury and non-contact hamstring injuries
such a bad comparison
Will say this to level set. Evans is one of my favorite players, if not my favorite Buc of all time.
Whether Licht and company wanted to keep Evans on the team is irrelevant. The way things worked out are the best for the future of our franchise.
Do you think the Seahawks regret moving on from DK Metcalf, in favor of running the offense through JSN??
Whether Licht and company wanted to keep Evans on the team is irrelevant.
Wrong. It's very relevant.
Again, you and the rest of the Bowles Nut Goblins have taken every opportunity possible over the past few weeks to take every thinly veiled shot at Evans possible.
And, now, you and your ilk have been trying to make a case that "Licht and Company" moved on. As if it wasn't Evans taking one look at the state of this franchise and saying "Thanks, but no thanks".
You could see it with the "3rd and 28" reaction. He was gone. Done with the shit show of this coaching staff.
Will say this to level set...
Yes, let's get back to it.

So, we've talked about Week One and how he received the most targets.
You won't answer about Week Two, so I'll do it for you again.
He did in fact lead the team in targets.
Now, could you please let us know who received the most targets in Week Three?

So much anger from Donk.
Are we better in 2026 with Evans on our team?
We lose leadership. That’s about it.
No one likes Bowles but to continue with the crying seems fruitless.
Licht will hit again in this draft and we will all be pumped up for 2026.

And the same few trolls will be trolling away. And posting losing bets against the Bowles & Bucs, later to claim no one is rooting against the Bucs

“Front office and coaches, they can only do so much. A majority of this has to be done within the team, within the locker room,” Brooks said. I’ve learned being a part of this league a long time. When the front office and coaches try to dip those hands and toes too much over into that area of transition of that locker room, it doesn’t go well.”
