This draft was not the sexiest draft, but we became a better football team. The only sexy pick was our QB. We filled holes on the line that were needed. Never a sexy pick or popular pick, but ask Dallas how important a line is or any fan that saw our line last year. Then we picked up special team players with a speedy linebacker and 2 fast wide receivers. Special teams are not sexy picks until game day and field position sucks, and Hester just broke a record against your team. We can't get any worse than our returners last year who couldn't even field punts. One of those receivers can possibly play slot and be productive and our linebacker doesn't need to come in right away and start and can be groomed. He has a lot of upside. Last pick was a head scratcher, but after looking into him and thinking of short down situations, I kind of like the pick. Our offensive coordinator uses the fullback and we needed to upgrade the position. At the end of the day, it's a 7th round pick. Throw him in on special teams too. What we did was get a QB, sure up our line, upgrade special teams, and add depth. Not the sexiest draft but I'm happy.
