There are a large number of football fans who are now football fans all the year round. Instead of taking a break for 6 months after the Superbowl, we go straight into evaluating players for the upcoming draft. We are hardcore fans and we can't get enough football when it comes to our team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is something that I have always thought would be fun. This thread is an interactive 2016 Tampa Bay Buccaneers draft thread where you get to put on your GM hat and make interactive selections for your team in real time. It is understood that not everyone has the availability to be online at the exact time that the Buccaneers are on the clock to make their picks. So for the pursposes of this thread, the rules will be that you must get your picks in before the Buccaneers make their next selection. In other words, you can post your pick anytime from the second the Bucs are on the clock until just before they make their next selection. Just make an honest effort to make your picks in a timely manner. The purpose of this thread is really simple. First off, if you are picking in real time you will get to feel the pressure of being on the clock. Choosing one specific player out of the hundreds of eligible players is not easy. Even if you are picking an hour after the fact it is still not an easy task and you will feel the pressure of trying to make the right pick.I think it would also be fun to chart the success and failures of your draft picks and compare picks between us, even if we are just armchair GM's. NFL GM's hit on less than 60% of their 1st round picks and the percentage goes down dramatically after that, so there are no expectations that we are going to hit on a lot of these selections. At the end of the day this is just for fun and to see how we stack up. But who knows? Maybe there is a future NFL scout amongst us?I am expecting that there are a small handful of posters on this board that are hardcore draft junkies who would be interested in doing this and will probably be good at it as well.
