After looking at our schedule in hind-sight the only games that we lost that we really should not have are the Cardinals and Green Bay game. Those were both games on the road, however, so they are a bit of a toss up. All our other loses are to > 500 teams with most of them being playoff teams.

Our 4 wins all came against other bad football teams. We were 'in' most games being within one score in 8 of our 11 losses. Better luck (injuries, kicks, fumbles, etc.) and this team is at 7-9 wins like most prognosticators would have pegged us at anyway.

So as we watch today try to keep in mind that a few lucky bounces and a healthy shoulder from Winston and we might be getting ready for the playoffs instead of tanking for Chubb, but this team just would have gotten pantsed in the playoffs anyway, I think we'll be better off for it next year if we get the high pick and get the impact pass rusher this team desperately needs.
