Alrigth, below is my prelim list for round 2 prospects. I have no opinion on these guys to date.
* I want to put Brian Burns - Edge - FSU on here, but I see no way that he doesn't obliterate the combine and fly up to mid-first. The only way I see him dropping is if he comes in at 240 and his combine is good but not great. Therefore, I'm taking him off.
* I also highly doubt OT Jawan Taylor will be there (though I'm seeing early 2nd by a lot of outlets right now), so I'm not going to review him.
So these are the guys I've decided upon based on feedback from folks and a bit of research. There are some guys who are late 2nd, but are rising (eg Devin Bush) and I'm personally curious as to how they look on tape.
Gerald Willis – DT – Miami
Dalton Risner – OL – KSU
Chris Lindstorm - OG - Boston College
Michael Deiter - G/C - Wisconsin
David Edwards - OT - Wisconsin
Devin Bush - LB - Michigan
Trayvon Mullen - CB - Clemson
Cody Ford - OT - Oklahoma
Amani Oruwariye - CB - Penn State
If folks could look at these briefly and if I get more than a few people agreeing on a prospect that is on here or a prospect that was left off, I'll prune the list...but 9 is the number I'm going to review.
Give me some thoughts, yays, nays, and I'll start looking at guys tonight while the NCAA Championship is on.
