With Kuechly being one of the potential candidates for this class, I think we'll see the old "Lavonte vs Luke" debate.
IMO, there's no doubt LVD is worthy.
And, I think Brady coming to Tampa and his time here will definitely help his cause (exposure nationally, SB win, etc.)

LVD definitely worthy. Its a shame he is under appreciated. He is everything you want in a player.
Subjective accolades are often driven as much by external circumstances as player performance
LVD will get snubbed. He's still getting snubbed. Even Devin White is sticking his nose up at him.
I think LVD has had a HOF career but they love to use the pro bowl and all pro metric to decide and he's been snubbed more times than I can count.
Why would that magically change now?
Love LVD and I want him to make it but I give it less than a 30% chance. Still possible.

My guess would be many people outside of tampa know very little about LVD, especially things like his football smarts.

LVD will get snubbed. He's still getting snubbed.
He has a handful of AP honors, but only one Pro Bowl.
But, the Pro Bowl snub in 2013 was the most egregious. Same year that Luke won the DPOY.
David had more solo tackles, TFL's, sacks, QB hits, passes defended, INT's, FF's, FR's, and even a safety for the cherry on top.
So, while I'm trying to stay optimistic about it; I wouldn't be surprised if he did get snubbed.
That jackass Ira won't help matters.
