Josh posted an article with offensive stat projections. Here's where they landed:
Baker-
4,271 yards
72.7%
34 TD's (+ 2 rushing TD's)
13 INT's
(note...50 less attempts)
Evans-
75 Receptions
1,104 yards
11 TD's
Godwin-
70 Receptions
799 Yards
4 TD's
Egbuka-
46 Receptions
568 Yards
3 TD's
JMac-
20 Receptions
247 Yards
6 TD's
Otton-
52 Receptions
516 Yards
4 TD's
Bucky-
1,071 Rushing Yards
12 TD's
407 Receiving Yards
0 TD's
White-
707 Rushing Yards
4 TD's
427 Receiving Yards
4 TD's
All in all, looks solid.
I don't think White gets those numbers, simply because I think they'll phase him out 2nd half of the year.
I also think Egbuka's TD total is more than what's predicted.
I'll disagree with the WR numbers. I think Egbuka and JMac will get more yards with Evans getting less. Godwin of course is a complete unknown, but I guess those projections are as good as any.
I personally would like to see Evans be at his best when the playoffs come around. That's much more important than getting another thousand. Bowles is 1-4 in the playoffs, and perhaps the Bucs should put a little more emphasis on managing the veterans snap counts and making sure they're healthy for the playoffs. I won't use the word "fresh" or "rested" because nobody is fresh and rested after a 17 game NFL season unless you are lucky enough to be able to have a meaningless Week 18 game and a bye in the playoffs.
Evans gets his way a lot of times and he's not going to be held back by any snap count suggestions. That's because he's the man. Now with the greenhorn OC that isn't likely to change. But if the Bucs want to win in the playoffs they'd behoove themselves to find a way to manage Evans' workload and that could mean not breaking the 1000 yard threshold.
Hypothetical: The Bucs clinch the division and are resting the starters on Week 18 and Trask is behind the center. Evans has 960 recieving yards. He wants to play the last game to get 1000. You are Bowles - Does Evans get in the game?

Trick question, as Bowles wouldn’t do this.

Pretty sure Baker’s completion percentage is higher than that by a few points. Also, Mcmillan’s #s are laughable. Baker loves JMac mainly because, he fucking catches everything.
Yeah Bowles isn't a rest starters coach. I think he said he favors playing to keep momentum and fine tune
(note...50 less attempts)
Interesting because he attributed the drop in attempts to injury allowance AND an increase in leads, so more running but nothing on the stats for Tucker
Pretty sure Baker’s completion percentage is higher than that by a few points.
That would break the NFL record set by Brees.
So, pretty lofty prediction on your part.
Baker loves JMac mainly because, he fucking catches everything.
Then Baker REALLY LOVES guys like Evans, Godwin, and Otton...who all have higher catch rate percentages than JMac.

JMac’s catch rate percentage was better his rookie season than both Evans’ and Godwin’s rookie seasons.

Ironically enough, JMac was tied for the team lead in dropped passes (tied w/ Evans, though Mike had double the receptions and targets).
End of the day, you said "Baker loves JMac because, he fucking catches everything".
Just gave you a list of receivers that are better at it. And, Egbuka will join that list this season.
Trust me, it's a good problem to have, and JMac is arguably the best WR4 in the league.

Again, Jmac‘s catch rate percentage was better than both of our pro bowlers were when they were rookies. Of the past 20 rookie WRs with JMac’s catch rate percentage or better, all, every last one of them improved their second season in catch rate percentage, targets, and yardage. But yeah, let’s throw up some stats where he’s marginally worse.

Cool story.
Hope the trend continues for him. Like I said, he's most likely the best WR4 in the league.
Knees is just drunk on his gibberish. Making up stats then when those are debunked he compares rookie years.
You're so excited to type you forget to think

What stats are made up?
He's evolving. That's the story and they're sticking to it. It would seem to make sense that he evolve himself some way to win in the playoffs.Yeah Bowles isn't a rest starters coach. I think he said he favors playing to keep momentum and fine tune
