Sure we will have to work out the money and play with our cap (maybe a couple restructures and a trade of OJ Howard).
But Harris is the missing link on defense. Especially considering that we look go be rolling into 2020 with 3 young CBs starting. Those young cats need help on the deep end and Harris was about as good as any safety in coverage last year, accumulating 6 interceptions.
The talks have not been fruitful between he and the Vikings. A long term deal is unlikely meaning he is a prime trade candidate.
Antoine Winfield has upside but we can't have a junior varsity secondary with 4 or 5 guys under 24 years old. We need a proven commodity at Safety.
