OK so Testeverde is going to play the entire game? What a waste of a game. I'm sorry for season ticket holders having to pay for this. If I was one I'd be complaining. The Bucs can't sell enough season tickets. Well when you force people to pay for this that doesn't help. I don't even think it will have much bearing for the roster bubble players. Maybe one or two are still to be decided, but for the most part they are just waiting for the cutdowns from other teams to fill positions where they aren't happy with what they have. Certainly the WR battle is decided in Arians' mind. You can't judge that when Testeverde is QB. It used to be you rest the starters in game 4. Now you rest anybody who might actually play a meaningful role in the regular season. Except for a guy like Justin Evans who needs to get some work in coming back from injury. After all the mini-camps, training camp and three preseason games there is nothing more for Arians and company to learn about these guys. Any player who thinks they are going to play their way into a roster spot will probably just be replaced by someone off the waiver wire.
What a useless game! Having said that I'm sure I'll be watching.
