Everything in southwest Florida appears to be on the mend.Buccaneers fans can all beathe a sigh of relief. With four wins in the second half of the season, the outlook is better and the fact the team parted ways with Greg Schiano after two drama-filled seasons is a huge help to mend the pain of what appeared to ruin this franchise from day one last year.The defense is young and could be exciting. The quarterback, Mike Glennon, showed he could work under fire as a rookie.The ground game suffered because Doug Martin was injured and the receivers showed they could play better in the second half - led by Vincent Jackson.There is a reason to be excited about this franchise in 2014.They may not be the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFC in 2014, but they could be very exciting if they get help on the offensive and defensive lines and depth everywhere.Here are five players who could be playing in Red and Pewter next season.
Eric DeckerHaving Vincent Jackson on one side is a real help to Mike Glennon. Having Eric Decker could mean the second-year passer has a special season. Decker - with his ability to get to a spot and turn it into a huge gain - helps the Bucs tenfold.
Michael BennettHe just won a Super Bowl and may be looking to cash in. Bennett played on a one-year contract to win in Seatle and although it is likely he could stay with the Seahawks, teams will make a run at him. Lovie Smith would love to have him as an anchor on the defense.
Maurice Jones-DrewThe Tampa Bay backfield is crowded, but it figures to thin out. Jones-Drew will test the free agent market and Tampa Bay is only three hours away from Jacksonville. Hi role would be diminished, but he would be a jice backup to Doug Martin.
Richie IncognitoHe would provide a strong presence in the middle of the line. Yes, he is an offensive player at times, but this team needs toughness and Smith and his staff are strong enough to challenge him to change and be the best linemen on this team.
Jermichael FinleyHe could be this team's answer at tight end. Finley in Florida would be a nice catch and he could be an underneath threat or third-down target. Other than bennet, who isnt even close to my top choice for FA DE, i dont want any of these guys on the bucs. Terrible list, and i nearly spat out my drink reading this bufoonery lol

Outside of Bennett, this is an awful list. To me, it is a list of UFAs that the Bucs should stay clear ofWhy on earth would we want to pay Decker #1 receiver money when we already have a boatload of cash invested in the position and this is one of the deepest WR drafts in recent memory

Bennett will demand a boatload of cash....the time to sign him was last year when he was still here. I'd stay away from Finley and his concussion issues, any FA RB (Our backfield is loaded), and Incognito (Too much drama and he wasn't particularly good). The only one interesting in that list to me is Eric Decker - I'd want him for WR#2 money or I'd look at other options (Hakeem Nicks, James Jones, ...). Whoever is under center next year will need a solid WR group, a good LT and a solid pass-catching TE, and WR is the one position that we can potentially target in Free Agency.
If he is cleared to play again I would welcome Finley here.

As much as I would love to see Bennett back, I don't think its going to happen.He led a great Seahawks defense with sacks and pressures and played on a 1yr prove it contract...especially after he had an "alleged" shoulder injury (which is why Dominik didn't re-sign him....allegedly). The man is going to get paid this year...rightfully so, good for him, and the Bucs are not going to be able to afford him.Dominik and Schiano had no business letting him go for DTN or Bowers.
