Having a few days to let the dust settle has helped my outlook. Licht wanted 4 starters, I see 5....sort of.1. VH3 looks to at least crack the line up at Nickel. It will be a great camp battle and curious to see who the odd man out is. My guess it's Verner. Banks and Grimes on the outside, VH inside. And yes, I do think nickel counts as a starter.2. Spence will unseat someone. Hopefully J Smith progresses into a 3 down DE, but the reality is we will have a variety of looks. Our DE room looks to be filled with pass rushers, and run stuffers. Not sure if we have a guy that does both really well. But the expectation is that Spence is immediately our best pass rusher, and to me that's a starter.3. Kicker....that's all I'll say about that.4. Going on record that Ryan Smith will be our starting FS week 1. Very smart player and brings more ball skills and coverage ability than Conte.5. Vitale....if an H- Back / full back can be a starter, he is it. This might be my favorite pick of the draft. Should become a very versatile weapon and saftey valve for JW. I was hoping for a WR in this draft, but Vitale is still a receiving weapon.
