He won't be the first OT taken. Matthews is much better technician and more experienced with a better pedigree as well. Robinson will definitely be the 2nd OT taken and will most likely go top 10. He isn't a polished pass blocker but his upside due to his athleticism makes him a top 10 guy. Tyron Smith type prospect.
I brought him up a few days ago in the draft sticky thread as my darkhorse pick at #7. He is by far the best run blocking Tackle in the draft and is a pretty good pass protecter as well. Lovie mentioned today how important the OL will be. Robinson would be a cornerstone to our power run game for years to come

"He can get movement on the Berlin Wall, as far as the running game is concerned, but they haven't seen his pure athleticism yet." His hustle to make the tackle after that last interception really impressed me.
Really only two players impressed me in that game - him and #8 for FSU. First time I'd seen FSU all year and that DT, other than being winded a lot, was really messing up the interior of the Auburn line while Robinson has been super impressive all season. When he declares I can see him being our pick at 7.

Credit needs to be given to ESPN's Mel Kiper for recognizing Robinson's talent very early in the season. The left tackle is a very good run blocker, but he could use some work in terms of posture and balance in pass protection. There is a legitimate chance Robinson is selected over Jake Matthews.
dal, you are referring to Timmie Jernigan. He has been a wrecking ball for FSU all year but as you noticed, his conditioning was an issue. I loved his drive though.

I'm definitely intrigued by Robinson. I hadn't even heard of him until today, but I was very lukewarm on Lewan and Kouandjio so it's good to know there may be a legit #2 OT behind Matthews, whom I hadn't even gathered played as well as people expected.
