I wouldn't call our oline good at all lol but they do have issues with playcalling and game management. Brady is not as good as he used to be. This is just not a good football team.

#4 in the OP was FALSE

The 1st half offense against the Bengals was more the Bengals coming out flat then the Bucs offense being real.

No it wasn't.

Did you even watch the game?

That 1st half offense was stock full of pre-snap motions, heavy play action, lots of 10 and 11-personnel, etc.

so there are two possibilities to describe the difference between 1st half Bengals and 2nd half Bengals and Arizona

mine - the Bengals defense adjusted and played better

yours - despite their success the Bucs OC changed everything

in both games, Brady has at least one INT where his lineman (a backup) is basically best clean off the line so he’s hitting while throwing.

(I think the play calling sucks too  the difference: I think the team lacks talent, particularly in the O-line. You and JC seen to think the line is good.

we are the worst running team in the league, maybe?)

You think you are fooling people. You aren't.

But since you're a simpleton, you have no idea why that is.

They COMPLETELY changed the play calling in the 2nd half.

They ran dozen PA plays with great success in the first half and ran THREE in the 2nd.

They went back to their jumbo sets and obvious run formations and reverted back to the same clown show routine Lovie Leftwich has blessed us with the entire season (sans a few quarters).

They got a lead and proceeded to play “not to lose”.

This team has playoff talent. It has contender talent.

It also has an OC that could be figured out by a high school defensive coordinator and a HC that I’m not sure has an actual pulse.

So, if that is the case  - - and it certainly could be  - - - is that LEFTWICH or is it BOWLES?  You said Arians would have this team with only TWO losses. Arians suggested it is Bowles, right? He said the Bengals first half looked like Leftwich saying "F-it, I am going to be me."  You say its the OC, right? That's having it both ways, right . .  if you accept the premise that Bengals first half success was OC play calling?

My point is that the play calling sucks (whomever you blame) but that the team is not very good (pressures, holdings) because of the loss of key players, particularly along the line, and the injuries piling up and poor overall coaching (false starts, two men in motion).

This could be wrong but

1) Brady's first interception against AZ is the result of him getting hit on an attempt to throw deep to Evans . .  on first down (?) in the no huddle offense (?)

2) Brady's fumble against the Bengals (or one of them) he gets sacked on 3rd and 10? I think his first pick is 3rd and 9 or something

3) I think PFF has the Bucs as one of the most efficient pass blocking teams (LMAO) but also caveats that by attributing it to Brady GETTING THE BALL OUT FASTER than any other QB

4) Our offensive line is so bad they felt the need to play a clearly injured Wirfs in AZ (high sprains dont go away that quickly)

5) Evans is almost a non-factor in this offense

Those combined facts would seem to support that they are going with super conservative run and short passing game to protect the QB  who is playing with a bad line.  That would be a HC thing, right? Another poster here is making the same point.

That is a a recipe for a lot of losses with NO GRONK and a very injured Godwin and even an injured Gage. We have a lot of losses. Its a recipe to keep a 45 year old QB on his feet though. Its a recipe for a defensive-minded head coach.

If its Bowles then we are in real trouble because the offense against the Cardinals, who have a terrible defense, was all Fornette. A supposedly injured Fornette . . . and we won it . . well, BRADY won it at the end.  Bowles post game locker room comment was "they dont have to be pretty" and this next game is "for all the marbles."

@jc5100 yeah that’s why our run game is so good

why Brady got hit on that INT ..

gtfoh

Our run game sucks because of the formations they run out of.

And I said outside of LT. And as bad of a rep as that was for Walton, Brady could gave easily side stepped. From what I remember that was the DE on an inside move and there was no other defender outside of him.

He said the Bengals first half looked like Leftwich saying "F-it, I am going to be me."

You said he quoted that about the Arizona game.

So, which is it?

Because both of those 1st halves were called extremely different.

It's the formations, yes - but it's also the predictability of playcaller.

The "?" was answered here, with factual, inarguable data that I'm sure your dumbass will refute:

Posted by: @pennywise

For the season, the Buccaneers' play-action rate is 16.2%.

it was 43.5 the first half against the bengals  , the most all year

They used PA 13.6% against bengals in the second half

Completely clueless about what is being discussed.
