So it looks like Nicks may have played his last down as a buc, possibly Joseph and Penn as well.  If that happens, it frees up a ton of cap space and gives us about $30 million to spend. So here is my list of needs and my list of off season moves I would like to see.Needs (excluding a new coaching staff - obviously)1) DE2) TE3) OT 4) G5 Speedy WR FA1) Grab Hardy ($9M) or Johnson ($9M)...preferably Hardy because it weakens a division opponent and he has better production...we absolutely have to come away with one of these two in FA...otherwise it puts us in a rough spot in the draft...solves need #12A) Grab Jimmy Graham ($12M)...Graham, Jackson, Mwill, Wright, Martin = set at skill positions...weakens the saints....solves need #22B) Grab Mack the C from the Browns....move Zuttah to G...he seems to be a better G than C....solves need #4...serious upgrade at C...improves 2 positionsDraft1) BPA  - Clowney > Mathews > Barr (would be thrilled with any of these)  Kouandjio > Mack (would be happy  with these).2) BPA - TE / WR (speed) - hoping Sefaron Jenkins is here...think the falcons snatch him in RD 2 though (just like they will grab Clowney in RD 1...phuckers)4-7) BPA - OL / DLWorst possible scenario...Falcons grab Johnson and draft Clowney and Sefarion-Jenkins; Saints and Panthers resign Graham and Hardy.  We miss out on Mack (the Browns C). Thoughts...

You are most likely correct...but they don't have a whole lot of cap space.  At a minimum I hope we are in the mix to at least drive his price up.

Graham will be franchise tagged. Only way to get him is to give up the picks that come with signing him. 1st and 3rd, I believe. Also Bucs don't have the cap space to sign all those guys IRCC. We need to get rid of guys like Nicks, Joseph, Koenen to even considering signing 2 of the 3.

If you could talk Jimmy Graham into leaving Sean Peyton and Drew Brees and that prolific offense to come and play with the Twig Cannon and Schiano then my hat would be off to you sir!!!!!!!!!!Likewise, you would be the pimp of all pimps if you could talk Greg Hardy into leaving Carolina to come and learn the fine art of the kneel down play from our defensive genius head coach. Where is the Blue font?

Firstly...money talks...you know the rest.  You may be right about Graham getting the tag...next year though we should back up the brinks.  Hardy is someone that I think we can actually go after though...if steve smith retires the panthers will have the cap room for him...otherwise maybe not.  In any case...we need to be active in FA taking care of needs....so we can draft BPA in the early rounds.

I could be wrong, but if the falcons pick before us in round one, they will pick after us in round 2. If teams have the same record their picks alternate by round. (I think)

completely different situation since we never even offered to match to keep him, for what reason I have no idea

I think I'd rather sign Jared Allen. Johnson only had 1 good year and that was in a contract year. I think if we could land Hardy or Allen, that would go along way to improving the D and allowing us to focus on offense in the draft.

He's about to finish this season regressing to 7.5 sacks , while being surrounded by more talent than he was here.Ho hum.We need a legit double-digit sack guy . Bennett would have helped a little but he's not our answer.

Bennett is a top DL in the NFL right now.He has been given limited snaps this year because he is on a good defense with a good rotation. If he were an every down edge rusher he would have smashed double digit sacks,  but that's not what he does. He is Seattle's best DL at nearly every position just like he was here. Some people just aren't paying attention.
