assuming Donald goes to the Senior Bowl id like to see how he does against premier level players and id love to see how he measures in
I here the argument that Henry Melton wouldn't make sense here either because he is only a three tech. I just don't buy it. I think having a NT next to GMAC that is also an excellent pass rusher is a very good thing. As long as he can shed blocks and stop the run, then I'll take two "3 Techs" all day long. GMAC eats all the double teams anyways. Our NT gets a lot of one on one.

Ditto. If he's actually 6'1" 295lbs.....I think he ends up being a top 20 pick.If he is 6ft or even 5'11" and a in the 280s....then he'll probably slip quite ways.
If McCoy has to go up against double teams all game, I wouldnt mind having a another 3 technique DT knifing in to the backfield. That would be insane if we get a freak pass rusher to go with it. (Clowney, Mack, Barr, Micheal Johnson, Peppers, Trent Murphy, Allen)
He didn't know who had the ball, so he tackled the entire backfield" lmfao gotta love that line from the commentator lol
Bucs are going to need a backup 3 tech or for rotational purposes. Donald can replace Landri in that role.
The DTs arent that great this year. I agree that Donald is the best DT and also that kid from the Gators is pretty good and definitely very versatile. Ive watched him play well at both DE and DT but I forget his name.
Dominique EasleyIm not sure what DTs you are looking at because there are a bunch of good ones this year. its a really good classTimmy JerniganLouis NixDominique EasleyRashede HagemanAaron DonaldDaquan JonesWill SuttonDan McCullersEgo FergusonAnthony Johnson (if he declares)Calvin Barnettthat's a lot of really good DTs and id take any of them on this team
I was mainly talking about top 15 pick worthy, Not one of those guys are even close to the top DTs that have come out the last few years.
His highlights are ridiculous for a DT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45O_bC8SKtE

true but its no biggie. we aren't going DT with our first pick anywayto be honest DTs usually aren't worthy of top 10 selections anyway. its not that often that you find guys that are. McCoy and Suh was a special DT class. usually you see them starting to go in the teens. DTs generally don't get the required amount of sacks to make a big enough difference to require that high of a pick
He could play end with that quickness
He could play end with that quickness
I think he could, but I would hate to move him from the interior. His explosiveness and ability to split the guard and center is what makes him so special.Way I see it, if we did actually draft him, he would be a part of the DT rotation. He'd split reps with Spence at NT, taking most of the passing down reps with Spence playing the short yardage reps. On obvious run plays, short yardage, and goal line plays....he could definitely move out to LE. On top of all that he could spell McCoy and replace him in the event of an injury. There is lots of value there. If we drafted him and signed on of the many FA DEs....wow.
Adding Donald would be nice because the Bucs could cut Landri and save some cap space
I say take him i believe in filling a roster with good football players, I even consider picking Ryan Shazier if we were a mid round pick i think hes a violent version of Lavonte David that can lay the hammer,
Henry Melton - FA Chicago Bears we need to get him!
Why?
