Donald looks like a beast. I doubt we go that direction though.

Totally agree... on direction, but. Donald dominates single blocks, so does McCoy, our good not great DEs could have big numbers with a real NFL defensive scheme. Where were picking number 7 if we pass on QB we need to get this monster.I'm sure Coach Lovie Smith or Coach Joe Cullen, or both have already had conversations with Da'Quan Bowers and William Gholston.Number one question........think hard....... can you beat a one on one?Simple question yes or no?I think were going to hunt with the guys already on the roster. And number 50 does not count... his name is to long and his play is CFL at best.We have another guy too, some kind of Palsy, weak from one side... Bull Sh_t... Adrian Clayborn I will say his name, look for the ENFORCER.I love short stout DTs with quick's, Donald looks like he has them in Spades.
If he's the BPA, then take him. Facing a line of Clayborn, Donald, McCoy, and Allen on 3rd and long would be scary. Not to mention if McCoy does go down with injury, the team has no depth. Without a penetrating DT, the D would fall apart.

True. If he's that good you take him. Don't take the risk of trading back, he might not be there.
If he was 6-3 300, he'd be a top 5 pick no question. The production is there. The drive is there. Technique etc. I wouldn't mind him at #7 if the team felt he makes us better.
Pretty sold on this guy. Impressive.

That's what I'm saying.
DT (Donald) or OT at #7 = best valueQB, DE, WR at #7 = poor value

How so?

Not sold on any QB that will be available to the Bucs at #7. Also, no good fits at DE either.#7 is not a good spot for an unspectacular WR especially when this draft is DEEP, DEEP, DEEP.
The Pewter Plank ?@ThePewterPlank 34mAccording to @walterfootball the Bucs have met with Pittsburgh 3-tech Aaron Donald at the combine.
Jared Stanger XII ?@JaredStanger 3mAaron Donald puts up 2nd most bench for the DL group (35). Followed by Hageman and Carrethers. So that's a fun group.
Any chance the Bucs draft Donald as Gerald Mccoy's replacement due to Mccoy's next contract and how expensive it will be to sign him?
I don't think that will be the plan. Pretty sure we consider McCoy more valuable than Revis and will make sure we retain him.
The Bucs should be doing whatever it takes to improve our awful pass rush this offseason. If that includes drafting Donald and signing Allen and resigning MCoy then they have to do this. They will need to get some help on offense though.
