Jags DT Abry Jones vs Bucs DT Akeem Spence
Recently Jones re-signed for 4yrs/$16m (6.5 guaranteed) and as we all know Akeem is a FA this off-season. Let's look at the numbers, first for Jones:
4 years played (54 games) with 5.5 sacks, 97 total tackles (32 assists) and 2 fumbles forced
and now Spence:
4 years played (56 games) with 5.5 sacks with 96 total tackles (32 assists) and 0 fumbles forced
Seems to me Akeem should expect similar contract terms...
