I saw a lot of complaints about lack of playing Press and lack of playing much beyond Cover 3 and Quarters (Ayers tweeted this complaint...and its true). So I'm going to take a look at the coverages we played to see if that held true in this 1st game.

However, the All 22 and the End Zone still aren't available, so I just have replay. Via simple replay, I'll be able to discern the running game (formation, play, front, and front 7 play). So I figured I'd take a quick look at Rojo's carries to see what was going on under the hood.

2ND & 5 AT MIA 27(12:59) | 12:59
(12:59) R.Jones up the middle to MIA 22 for 5 yards (M.Fitzpatrick).

Balanced 12 personnel vs Base 43 Over w/ Rolled Up Safety.

This is just a simple A Gap (C and LG) Man run. Left TE singles DE, LT and LG combo one DT, C and RG combo other DT, RT and right TE single other DE. The LG works 2nd level to MLB as he's coming downhill into A gap and takes him out. Godwin comes down on rolled up Safety.

Its Rojo 1v1 w/ play-side OLB. He runs through the tackle for about 3.5 yards after contact. Good run blocking, good RB decisiveness, acceleration, pad level, balance through contact and drive for extra.
