If I'm the Glazer's yes, I consider parting with Smith. But you don't move on from a coach without another one in mind. There will be several teams bidding for the top guys. NYJ being one of them. Hell, throw the Giants' name in the hat, Coughlin is probably done too. Those teams will surely get the best coaches available just because it's New York baby.... *puke*... SF and CHI are in the market, and they as well represent better opportunities to most coaches. Even ATL/CAR could both be looking for a new coach, and both have established passers and quality rosters with some holes. The Raiders will be willing to throw cash at a big name coach, whereas we are still paying Lovie because he will not likely get another HC position, and he'll take the money as opposed to being a DC.Point is, yes.. we have the first pick and a good roster. But who is going to want to coach here over all the other organizations available? Our smartest choice may be to keep a little continuity for once, and stick with Lovie BUT.... A) I, Mr. Glazer, will hand pick (along with Jason and the front office's input) the best OC possible. I'll go after a big name and make an offer they can't refuse. And they will be given FULL control of the offense's gameplan, playcalling and handling of offensive personnel. B) I demand that Lovie and Licht take Jameis Winston. Whether they like it or not.Let Lovie stick around, enforce his defense and help coach that side of the ball, overseeing the personnel's execution of the cover 2. He can represent the coaching group as a whole, and deliver the speeches in the locker room to pump his guys up. But we need to separate Lovie completely from the offense. Hand the keys to the new OC. If Lovie can't deal with that, bye Felicia. Otherwise. Let's go Tampa Bay.
