Andy Benoit ?@Andy_Benoit 1h1 hour agostarting day with film on #Bucs O vs. #Jaguars D.#Jaguars Film: first play of game #Bucs attacked fill-in LB Armbrister with PA rollout. TE Myers 17 yds.Film: #Bucs got #Jaguars again with PA on 3rd play. Jackson 14 yd post.#Bucs Film: RB Martin is excellent at pressing the hole and setting up his blocks. Great illustration was his 39-yd cut-back run.#Jaguars Film: LB Telvin Smith can really run. A long, fluid athlete.Film: #Bucs did great job with gap scheme run that allowed O-linemen to down-block. Pullers get to second level cleanly that way.#Jaguars Film: Roy Miller sack-fumble was similar PA post #Bucs gained 14 on to Jackson earlier. This time LB Smith recognized immediately. The Winston fumble was negated, down by contact, btw. Most notable thing on play still that Jags took away Bucs play action post.#Bucs Film: Martin also very shifty, good short-area lateral agility. Saw that on his 10-yd TD, designed inside screen.Film: #Bucs gameplan was exactly the style they need to be playing: emphasis on variety of run concepts, play-action featured in pass game.#Bucs #Jaguars Film: Evans 17 yds was in slot, RB Sims out wide, empty set. That matched Evans on S Sergio Brown, Sims guarded by CB House.#Jaguars #Bucs Film: Aubrey Jones got the better of Hawley a few times in run game. Jones offers combination of movement and size.Film: #Jaguars ratcheted up pressure to open second half. DB blitzes a significant part of the mix.#Jaguars #Bucs Film: Colvin sack mistake by LT Smith. Needed to take B gap blitzer (Colvin) and leave DE unblocked. It was 6 on 7 favoring D.#Bucs #Jaguars Film: Sims 56 yd screen was vs. man2man behind 5-man blitz. S Cyprien had RB, LG Pamphile great job handling the S in space.Film: Also RE: Sims 56 yd screen, it's a little unusual to see a D blitz play man on 3rd-15 behind only a 5-man rush, especially #Jaguars.Film: #Jaguars 2nd half replaced Armbrister w/ Skuta in nickel, used more malleable fronts, a lot of 5-man blitzes with stunts.+/- results.#Bucs Film: LT Smith tendency to put hands in holsters. Doesn’t have particularly long arms. Needs to hone pass pro a bit.#Bucs Film: on positive side, LT Smith does play with pretty good balance in pass pro.Film: overall, #Jaguars secondary coverage wasn’t bad. Predominantly single-high concepts.#Bucs Film: RG Marpet interesting. Solid skill set foundation, moves well, not quite an impact player yet. Tough guy to define right now.#Bucs Film: Winston threw ball very well between the numbers at times. Evans 14 yds on final drive an example.#Bucs Film: overall Winston played with much greater calm and clarity than last week.
