Please tell me what rules I am breaking? Calling out Andy Dalton? Comparing Dalton Glennon? Not settling for a below average QB? Getting insulted because of my beliefs?
This isn't a toll post alright Mack is mostly a troll. He's not even coherent at what he thinks. Dalton is a QB good enough to be a playoff contender but not a Super Bowl contender. He is the worst QB in this playoff class and I think he will always be that level of a guy. He is a lot like Flacco but Flacco went monkey nuts last year and got his big deal. Dalton might go nuts the same way one season and in the same way...heaving bombs that land but he is not a guy who will be consistently a good enough passer to win.The reality is that Dalton seems like the low level of expectation of what Glennon can do. He can make plays in the league but the question is can he make enough plays to make a difference.
Anyone who uses "3rd round" when discussing the merits of a QB is a moron. There have been QB's in SF and New England who would take great pleasure in dispelling draft status. Act intelligent and discuss his positives and negatives, his QBR, stats, etc. Draft round is not an issue.
So, Dalton in his 3rd year, played like our rookie who set a bunch of rookie records in 13 games. That's encouraging, actually. And in Tedford's new system, Glennon will be a whole lot better...

Of course.... His play got worse down the stretch. I know.. people want to root for the guy, I know a lot of you guys are willing to sacrifice another season to give Glennon a chance for an entire season. I will go with Tedford on this one, if he rolls with Glennon, I will have no choice but to support his decision.
