If we draft McCarron we get to see his hot ass GF *more !!!!!
Not a fan of Carr , but Tedford is a QB guru , and if he thinks Carr is the man to lead his offense , Im willing to give him a chance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y54EIciZvTE This is a video that fairly assess Carr's strengths and weaknesses and that is based on footage from last season.
He looks like utter shlt in this video...
That's from last season. If you look at his highlights from this year you see his footwork looks much better.
Just no. Please no. We do not need a QB in round 1. And Carr is not the answer to any questions the Bucs need to answer.
Am I already seeing excuses for this guy?

Haha +1

Do you?

He looks... Dilfer-ish to me.

Just because he goes to the same school as Dilfer or is David Carr's brother doesn't make him the same as them.
I'm going to leave the evaluations to the Pros. Lovie and Tedford will make that call and I'll accept whatever they decide.
Dilfer looked fantastic in college. The things that went wrong with him weren't apparent until he got to the pros so nothing you "see" makes him look like NFL Dilfer. Carr is a great passer. He does have footwork issues but really a ton of college QBs do -- go back and look at scouting reports for most QBs. He makes all the throws, he goes through progressions, his ball placement is good. If you watch the QBs this year Teddy looks the most like a NFL QB, Carr to me is the second most NFLish QB. Reaction to him would be 100% different if his last name was Elway and not Carr.

Also worth pointing out, last season he played almost the entire year with a sports hernia, which altered his mechanics a lot. That's one reason for the mechanics issues that took place that year, and why they weren't as big a factor this year.

Honestly, it would be different if it was anything other than Carr. There is no "bust gene". It's moronic that his name matters to anyone.
Carr's accuracy suffers when he is throwing off his back foot but that is the case with many young QB's (especially when under pressure). It will be interesting to see if Carr participates in the senior bowl as that is the best place for him to improve his stock again. There are rumblings that McCaron may choose not to participate which I believe would be a mistake.
